ON FACING THE SENATORS:

"The big thing for me is how their forwards compete. They compete like hell to score. They're second- and third-effort guys. That's really, when you look at their team, that's kept them in the race."

ON TOP LINE OF DUBE, LINDHOLM, TOFFOLI:

"They slowed up a little bit before the break and then coming out of it in terms of their goals and numbers. But they played together pretty much since Christmas. Dillon brings some speed into the top end, which is needed on our team. I've said it lots... If he's consistent in his 5-on-5 play, then it shows that way."

ON FINISHING UP THE ROAD TRIP:

"It's a five-game trip for us and you want to finish strong. You always want to zero-in on what you're trying to accomplish. When you're on long trips, you always want to try and get more points than games played. … We have a lot of guys that haven't been home for... pushing into the third week here. Two-and-a-half weeks. We won't play a home game for three weeks, so there's lots more involved in it. You want to finish strong and have a good effort tonight."

DUBE ON SEVEN-GOAL OUTBURST LAST GAME:

"It was good. We got down two there and we rallied around it, so I think that boosted the mood in the room for sure to have that comeback and to score seven unanswered was big for our group. But our goal is not to get down by two and have to rally and show emotion once we're down. We have to do it right from puck drop to find a way to win tonight."

ON CLOSING OUT THE TRIP STRONG:

"It was good for our group to have that really good start in the second period (in Buffalo). Must-wins right now. We wanted our trip to be 3-0 right now, but we grinded our last game to make it a win and that's what we need tonight."

LINDHOLM ON CRUCIAL GAME VS. SENS:

"It would be huge (to get a win). We lost some ground last night. Even after the Buffalo game, we were out of a playoff spot again. We just want to keep getting in and it would be nice to win this one and string a few together and get right back in the mix again."

ON THE TEAM'S OFFENSIVE CONFIDENCE:

"Hopefully we're feeling good. A lot of guys got on the scoresheet. Hopefully it will create some confidence. Even though we were down 2-0, there was no panic. Just kept playing and got the result. Hopefully can start building off that."

KADRI ON PELLETIER:

"Just energy and willing to work every single night. He could complement me and Huby by just trying to get on top of pucks and force some turnovers and obviously he's got great finish as a skilled player. We're going to look to him to hopefully generate some of those turnovers and hopefully capitalize on them."

ON FINISHING THE TRIP ON A HIGH NOTE:

"We're not in a position to be too comfortable now. We've got to come out and have these points and if we do, it's a pretty good road trip."
