"He's great. Great two-way forward, does a great job in his own zone, wins draws and he's got a great offensive side to him, too. Makes him such a complete player and it's a lot of fun playing with him. I've had the opportunity to play with him for a few seasons now. Just a great player, great teammate, and he does everything right."
ON GETTING BACK IN THE WIN COLUMN MONDAY:
"Just before that, our trip to Florida, we weren't playing great and we had an opportunity to get a lot of practices in, a lot of video and I think we kind of took a few things out of our game that wasn't helping us. I thought we did a really good job of that, played a really good game in Edmonton - not the result we wanted - and we found the net against St. Louis and everyone was scoring and it turned out to be a good game for us."

ANDREW MANGIAPANE ON SUCCESS OF HIS LINE:
"I thought we've been OK. I think our first game was good back and I think our second one wasn't our best, and then our third one, I thought we were again back to our game there. It was a good building block last game, creating opportunities and playing well in our defensive zone and we've got to keep doing that and keep playing well together."
ON THE OVERALL TEAM GAME:
"I think as a team we we're playing fast, we were good in all three zones killing plays and making the next play (Monday). That's when we're at our best, when we're all playing together. One guy eliminates another guy from the puck, another comes in and supports and all we break the puck out as a unit of five. That's key and I like last game how we were playing like that."
"As a team, we're playing fast"
DARRYL SUTTER ON GAUDREAU'S TORRID PACE:
"When Johnny's playing that complete game, he's got the puck a lot. That's a possession game and he's really good at that. He's taken great strides in that and is one of the leaders in that with our group and with that overall structure and (becoming an) overall three-zone player. I think he's done a really good job of that."
ON LINDHOLM'S FIT WITH GAUDREAU & TKACHUK:
"Our centremen have to support a lot of plays on the ice and do a really good job in the middle of the ice. It starts with faceoffs with our centreman. It's not just with Lindy ... They have a big responsibility in the neutral zone. When you're playing with players like Matthew and Johnny, they can do a lot of skill things that other players can't, so you have to be a real smart player in the middle of the ice, too."

ON FACING THE JACKETS:
"I watch Columbus a lot, quite honest, because you don't see them a lot and I like to see how young players, top picks develop and are coming along. They have several kids that were drafted at the top of their drafts and are all under the age of 25. I've watched them a lot. They have an impressive young goalie and a couple really impressive young defencemen and they have (a group) in the middle of the ice ... that are really good players. Guys you can build teams around."
