A Patriotic Power Play

In honor of our veterans, the Tampa Bay Lightning and Tampa Electric have teamed up for a one-of-a-kind patriotic power play! For this very special power play, we’re covering the power bills of 15 local military veterans. Tampa Electric and the Bolts are proud to honor and assist those who have served and sacrificed for American’s freedom. It’s our small way to acknowledge their contributions to our way of life! The veterans’ power bills will be paid via TECO’s Share program. The Share program is a “charitable power grid” that supports customers who need assistance with their power bills. Share is funded by TECO employees and customers, and TECO matches contributions dollar-for-dollar up to $500,000 a year. The 15 worthy veterans for the “TECO Shares with Veterans” initiative were identified with the help of the U.S Department of Veterans Affairs. Help us bring more thunder and help more vets!
