Adult Learn To Play Sessions

The Florida Panthers in conjunction with the NHL and NHLPA will be hosting "Florida Panthers Adult Learn To Play." Adult Learn To Play is designed for men and women ages 18 and older who have little to no ice hockey experience.

Every participant will receive 12 weeks of on-ice training with USA Hockey Certified Coaches.

In addition, each participant receives a full set of custom fitted ice hockey equipment to utilize during the program and keep at its conclusion! (Some restrictions apply)

PROGRAM COST

Registration: TBA

USA Hockey Membership: $56

Each participant will be required to purchase a USA Hockey Player Registration before the first on-ice session.

Gear will be offered in the following sizes. Anything outside the scope of the sizing listed below will need to be purchased by the participant:

Helmets: Small - Large

Shoulder Pads: Junior Large - Senior XL

Elbow Pads: Junior Large - Senior XL

Gloves: 12 Inch - 15 Inch

Pants: Junior Large - Senior XL

Shin Guards: 12 Inch - 16 Inch

Skates: Junior 3 - Senior 11 R/D Width

  • due to production shortages, half sizes and wide skates can only be provided upon availability

Socks: One Size

Bag: One Size

Stick: Senior Right or Left Curve

The goal of Florida Panthers is to teach ice hockey to adults who may not have gotten the chance to play as adolescents. The Florida Panthers aim to assist each participant in beginning their hockey playing careers, first through Adult Learn To Play and then onto one of South Florida's many adult leagues at varying skill levels.

Participants may only sign up once for the Adult Learn To Play program

Refund Policy: Once the equipment has been received, refunds will no longer be available. Once the program is within two weeks from the 1st on-ice session, refunds will no longer be available.

If a player is suddenly unable to participate further for any reason during the 12 weeks, refunds nor rescheduling options (i.e. joining another rink program/joining the next season's session/etc.) will be available.
