Season in Review

The Rangers' second Stanley Cup victory came in 1933, when the Blueshirts defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs. 3-1.

The Rangers posted a 23-17-6 record in the regular season, good enough for third in the American Division standings. Captain Bill Cook led the way offensively with 28 goals and 50 points in 48 games, while goaltender Andy Aitkenhead picked up 23 wins in 48 games.

In the postseason, it was 24-year-old winger Cecil Dillon that emerged as the team's offensive force, registering eight goals and 10 points in eight games en route to a Stanley Cup.
