Greetings from SJ Sharkie:
Hiya Kid’s Club!
Boy oh boy have we had a busy few months! I got invited to a bunch of Fall Festivals where they let me play on their inflatable houses, test my skill at carnival games and eat all their food!
I have been honored to be featured on a number of TV Shows and the fans in Canada will be seeing me soon in a major commercial up there.
Here in the Bay Area I have been busy visiting so many schools teaching the importance of not being a bully via our Anti-Bullying assemblies with Kaiser Permanente and promoting literacy with our READING IS COOL program. The book series I am enjoying reading right now is DOGMAN.
For Halloween, I couldn’t decide which costume to wear so I wore them all. My favorite costume was dressing up as Bat-fish when I got to run the Win flag after the game on the ice! Throughout the game, I went trick or treating inside the SAP Center where so many fans gave me treats throughout the night.
My friend, Lou Seal from the San Francisco Giants, and I got to have some fun during the Bay Area Unite game playing dizzy pinata and sliding all over the ice!
And who can forget the AMAZING retirement of the number 19 worn by Joe Thornton!
Bye bye for now! Chow!
SJ Shakie
