The Vegas Golden Knights (21-15-6) took over the top spot in the Pacific Division (48 points) with a 4-1 victory against the Arizona Coyotes (21-14-4) on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena.
HOW IT WENT DOWN
Mark Stone opened the scoring with a power-play goal at the midway mark of the opening period. After an answer from the Coyotes, Stone scored again to give Vegas a 2-1 edge heading into the second frame. Chandler Stephenson scored 12 seconds into the middle period and Paul Stastny added another marker just 1:52 later as the Golden Knights took a 4-1 lead. Marc-Andre Fleury held down the fort with 27 saves as the home team skated to the win.

TOP PERFORMERS
Mark Stone:Stone's two-goal performance was an instant jolt in the first period for the home team.
Shea Theodore:Theodore racked up three assists from the blueline in the Vegas victory.
Max Pacioretty:Pacioretty's two assists added to his team lead and gave him a round 40 points on the season.

With the win, Marc-Andre Fleury tied Curtis Joseph for sixth on the all-time goaltender wins list (454 wins).
