VEGAS (March 11, 2019) - Vegas Golden Knights President Kerry Bubolz announced today, March 11, the launch of two official Spanish-language social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter, @LosGoldenKnights on Instagram and @LosVGK on Twitter. The platforms will be home to exclusive photo, video and written content produced for Spanish-speaking Golden Knights fans.
"One of the aspects of our fan base that we are most proud of is its diversity," said Vegas Golden Knights Chief Marketing Officer Brian Killingsworth. "Our Spanish-language Instagram and Twitter accounts will provide followers with unique content they cannot find anywhere else, serving and engaging current fans while attracting new ones. @LosGoldenKnights and @LosVGK will add considerable value to our portfolio of Spanish-language media assets."
The team currently broadcasts all home games on ESPN Deportes 1460 AM with Jesus Lopez handling the play-by-play duties and Herbert Castro providing analysis.
