Brady Tkachuk, LW -- The left wing led the Senators with 44 points (21 goals, 23 assists) in 71 games last season. Tkachuk nearly matched his rookie season point total (45) despite fewer offensive weapons than in 2018-19, when Ottawa had forwards Mark Stone and Matt Duchene. Tkachuk proved his ability to be a top 75 fantasy skater and has a higher ceiling this season after the additions of forward Evgenii Dadonov and goalie Matt Murray.
Thomas Chabot, D -- The defenseman scored 39 points (six goals, 33 assists) in 71 games last season, down from an NHL career-high 55 points (14 goals, 41 assists) in '18-19. Chabot's shooting percentage (3.2 percent) was below his NHL career average (6.2 percent), indicating a bounce back is likely. He should be available outside the top 100 in standard leagues and is an intriguing selection on an improved Senators team.
Senators 31 IN 31: [Season preview | 3 Questions | Top prospects | Behind the Numbers]
Evgenii Dadonov, LW/RW -- The dual-eligible wing scored 25 goals in 69 games last season and was tied for first with Mike Hoffman on the Florida Panthers with 11 power-play goals. Dadonov should be among the Senators' leaders in time on ice per game and could develop chemistry with Tkachuk on the top line. Dadonov should be selected around the 150 range in standard leagues and could thrive with an increased role.
Matt Murray, G -- The goalie was 20-11-5 with an .899 save percentage in 38 games with the Pittsburgh Penguins last season. Murray will be Ottawa's clear starter this season and should see an increase in his save percentage closer to his NHL average (.914). Murray is not a viable No. 1 or 2 fantasy goalie but remains a sneaky bench option this season.

Tim Stutzle, LW -- The No. 3 pick in the 2020 NHL Draft could make an immediate impact this season after scoring 34 points (seven goals, 27 assists) for Manheim of Germany's top professional league. Stutzle had arm surgery on Oct. 15 but remains an intriguing final-round pick with the ceiling of being among the rookie leaders in points this season if he plays in Ottawa's top six and on the first power play.
Other players to consider in late rounds or off waiver wire: Josh Norris, C; Erik Brannstrom, D; Drake Batherson, C/RW
