Point scored his 200th NHL goal on a power play at 1:06 of the third period to give the Lightning a 5-0 lead, and Corey Perry redirected a feed from Vladislav Namestnikov at 2:23 to make it 6-0.
"It's cool," Point said of his milestone. "It's something you never grow up thinking you're going to do. To do it is pretty cool. I'm getting the puck in good places. [Victor Hedman] hits 500 [assists] and [Steven Stamkos] hits 500 goals, and this. It's a little humbling."
Strome ended Vasilevskiy's shutout at 6:28 for the 6-1 final.
"Unfortunately the way our team is this year, we have to almost play a perfect game to beat a team like this," Strome said. "When they turned it up a notch, we had a tendency to split up rather than come together. Obviously, they're a great team and there are a lot of lessons we can learn from that."
