The Chicago Blackhawks celebrated Jonathan Toews' 1,000th NHL game, rolling out the red carpet at the United Center on Sunday.

Toews' milestone was recognized on the road,
specifically by teammate
Alex DeBrincat, but the team really pulled out the stops at the United Center.
Joined by his parents and brother out on the ice, Toews presented his mother with a bouquet of flowers as his career accomplishments were read to the crowd.
Next, alternate captains Patrick Kane and DeBrincat joined Toews' former alternate captains on the ice to present him with the customary silver stick.

"I was pretty humbled and pretty touched with the recognition from my teammates," Toews said. "With Sharpy, Hoss, Seabs and Shawzy showing up. I owe so much to those guys... I'm just so thankful to be able to have shared it with guys like that... It was pretty awesome to see them out there, so that meant a lot."
The Blackhawks also put together a comprehensive video of his milestones - and his three Stanley Cup titles - to play for the crowd.

Tommy Hawk was pretty fired up for the event.

During warmups, everyone wore the C in Toews' honor.

Kane even took it a step further, showing off a Toews commemorative logo shirt on his way into the building.

The Blackhawks set up an entire pop-up museum for Toews on Sunday.

And why not? If anyone deserved this kind off first-class celebration in Chicago, it was Toews.
