The Boston Bruins forward booted a kick through the uprights while visiting New England Patriots training camp with his teammates in Foxborough, Massachusetts.
Donato joined Rask as Bruins who have successfully made kicks at Patriots training camp. Whereas Rask used a tee last year, Donato had the help of Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy, who was the holder. Matt Grzelcyk and Chris Wagner joined the other Bruins at Patriots camp, and they got the full VIP treatment. They spent time on the field and met with New England owner Robert Kraft, coach Bill Belichick and tight end Rob Gronkowski.
"It was awesome," Grzelcyk, a native of Charlestown, Massachusetts, told the Bruins website. "Obviously, [I] grew up a Patriots fan so it's certainly a dream come true to meet [Belichick] and the rest of the guys." Boston pro sports teams tend to stick together, and the Bruins made sure to wish the Patriots luck in 2018.
All smiles from the guys today @patriots training camp... what an opportunity getting to meet the legendary Coach Belichick and the rest of the team. Best of luck in 18-19 🏈 #GameBall… https://t.co/7EOpKaydqD
