Connor McDavid is a video game cheat code. And we have the video evidence to prove it.
The Edmonton Oilers forward acquired the puck in the neutral zone, escaped Tampa Bay Lightning defenseman Jake Dotchin, maneuvered around forward Matthew Peca and somehow scored over goalie Andrei Vasilevskiy from an angle that just doesn't make any sense.

McDavid carried the puck way into the zone and as he was approaching the goal line on the outside of the net, flipped the puck up high enough to get over Vasilevsky but low enough to find the twine.
We've watched this video time and time again. It still doesn't make any sense.
If you have any theories on how this was at all possible, please let us know.
