Glass was Vegas' first NHL Draft pick (No. 6, 2017). The 20-year-old center scored on a cross-ice pass from Max Pacioretty at 2:12 of the second period to give the Golden Knights a 3-1 lead.
"It's special. You dream of it as a kid and for it to come true like that is unbelievable," Glass said. "Very emotional. When I was sitting on the bench, I just had goosebumps. The crowd was unbelievable. It was a very special moment."
Glass, who played on a line with Pacioretty and Mark Stone, became the youngest Golden Knights player (20 years, 184 days) to score a goal, surpassing forward Alex Tuch (21 years, 158 days on Oct. 15, 2017.
"That's 10 times easier," Glass said. "Having Stone] and [Pacioretty], two Hall of Famers to be, it makes it easier for a 20-year-old to come into the League. They play 200-foot games and that's something you appreciate and they make it real easy on yourself."

Reilly Smith scored two goals, and Stone had a goal and an assist for the Golden Knights. Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves for his 440th NHL victory.
Fleury won his 10th season opener, tying the NHL record held by Curtis Joseph and Martin Brodeur.
"It's nice to get that first win at home, especially against these guys," Fleury said. "Our crowd again was awesome, it was loud in there. I think our team played an awesome game from start to finish and I didn't have to do too much back there."
This was the first game between the Pacific Division rivals since last season's Western Conference First Round, which the Sharks won in seven games. Marcus Sorensen scored, and Martin Jones made 31 saves for San Jose.
"We said coming in we didn't want to give them any in the first 10 minutes, and we gave them two," Sharks captain Logan Couture said. "It's tough to come back in this building when you give them two goals right away."
