The Vegas Golden Knights goalie robbed the Winnipeg Jets forward of a hat trick with two astonishing saves in the third period of the Golden Knights' 4-2 win in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final.
"I was having a little fun," Fleury said. "They were good chances, and I was happy to get, especially that second one."
Scheifele, who scored twice in Game 3 and leads all Stanley Cup Playoff performers with 14 postseason goals, took a feed from Blake Wheeler and blasted a one-timer that Fleury somehow kicked out. The rebound came back to Scheifele, who had an open net to shoot at until Fleury lunged to stop him with his chest, keeping the Golden Knights ahead with 9:37 left.

"They were obviously important at a key time for us," Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant said. "That's Fleury. He's been great all playoffs; he's been great all year for us."
They were the two best of Fleury's 33 saves, 15 of which came in the third period, but the saves weren't his only way of tormenting Scheifele, Wheeler and the Jets. Fleury picked up an assist on Jonathan Marchessault's empty-net goal and also appeared to tickle Wheeler's ear during a post-play scrum during the second period.
"I was just sitting there, he was sitting there, ... and I thought I'd have a little smile by myself," Fleury said.
