And not just any cake; a monstrous Vegas Golden Knights logo cake, which also featured hockey gloves, skates, pucks and a taped up goalie stick emblazoned with the team's slogan "Vegas Born."
The cake was crafted by Freed's Bakery of "Vegas Cakes," the Food Network reality show for the Golden Knights season ticket member appreciation event on back on Feb. 9 at T-Mobile Arena.
Golden Knights defensemen Jon Merrill and Luca Sbisa enjoyed the cake on a plate, while teammate Nate Schmidt took a different approach, attempting to chomp a hunk out of it, hands-free, in one photo.
And it wasn't just the outside of the cake that was themed after the most accomplished expansion team ever. When sliced and served, the inside matched the team's colors.
The players will be featured on the episode of "Vegas Cakes" at 11 p.m. ET on Monday and 2 a.m. ET on Tuesday.
