Jets

The Winnipeg Jets will win the Stanley Cup for the first time because of goaltender Connor Hellebuyck and their high-powered offense.
Hellebuyck had a breakout season, winning more than 40 games, and was among the NHL leaders in wins, goals-against average and save percentage.

Patrik Laine's remarkable scoring and passing ability lead an offense that has plenty of size, speed and quickness. Add their dangerous power play and scoring will not be an issue.
Forward depth will also win them games. They roll four lines and revise the order, using multiple options for checking matchups. That flexibility will make them hard to handle, including on the road when they don't get the last change.

The trade that brought veteran Paul Stastny to the Jets on Feb. 26 gives them depth at center with Mark Scheifele, veteran Bryan Little and Adam Lowry.
On defense, Winnipeg's shut-down pair of Jacob Trouba, 24, and Josh Morrissey, 23, will be able to keep any opponent in check. Each is a strong skater, smart and quick.
Add defenseman Dustin Byfuglien, who won the Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010, and is playing his best hockey in recent years. He's physical and mobile and is far more calculating and far less go-for-broke and that unique ability puts Winnipeg over the top in the grind of four rounds of playoff hockey.
