A final journey to California represents the finale of a three-game road trip for the Nashville Predators when they face the Los Angeles Kings tonight (at 9:30 p.m. CT).
Nashville (23-11-6) has dropped two games in a row (0-1-1), including a loss in overtime to the last-placed Arizona Coyotes on Thursday evening in Glendale. Ryan Ellis scored in the contest, his second back since missing the first 38 games of the season due to offseason knee surgery.
The Kings (24-12-5) fell in the first meeting of the season with the Preds, 4-3, in overtime on Nov. 4. Los Angeles also saw their three-game point streak snapped in a 4-3 loss to the Calgary Flames in their most recent game.
The Predators did not hold a morning skate on Saturday. Below is a projected lineup based on Friday's practice:
