The Sabres reconvene for practice today at KeyBank Center. After an off day yesterday, we'll have a chance to see which injured players return to the ice with the team.
Here's what you need to know.

After practice on Sunday, coach Dan Bylsma was hopeful that at least Dmitry Kulikov (lower-body bruise) and Zach Bogosian (groin strain) would be back at today's practice. Ryan O'Reilly (muscle spasms) might be able to return, but Kyle Okposo (knee bruise) could miss Thursday's opener.
With the NHL season starting tomorrow night, rosters for the start of the year will be set by 5 p.m. today. Accommodating for those injuries could push Buffalo's roster over the 23-man limit. We'll have to wait and see.
