Daniel Trottier joined the Montreal Canadiens and the Bell Centre in January, 2018 when he was appointed Executive Vice President, Guest Services and Facilities Operations. An experienced administrator, he held several executive positions with large corporations for over 20 years. Appointed Vice President, Retail Trade Networks with the Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) in February 2015, he led the sales, operations and customer service forces of the entire outlet network that included in excess of 400 points of sale and over 5,700 employees. He successfully headed the corporate client sales teams consisting, among others, of agencies, authorized distributors and licence holders. As such, he successfully applied a growth strategy that translated into increased profitability while keeping the highest standards for customer service.

Before joining the SAQ, Daniel Trottier spent seven years as Vice President, Sales and Operations with Groupe Dynamite, a specialty apparel global retailer with 6,000 employees and over 350 retail outlets throughout Canada and the United States. During that time he successfully contributed to the growth and profitability of this jewel of the Quebec economy. From 1997 to 2008, he worked with Bell Mobility and Bell Canada where he successively held several management positions in Sales and Client Experience responsible for 23 call centres and over 5,000 employees. 

Daniel holds an MBA in Human Resources and Finance from École des hautes études commerciales (HEC) at Université de Montréal. He is recognized for his strategic vision and his ability to implement changes while mobilizing and rallying his collaborators around common objectives. A master when it comes to omnichannel strategy, he was behind the commercial success of new brands, innovative retail outlet concepts as well as e-commerce in Canada and throughout the world.
