Appointed Vice President Community Engagement and Foundation General Manager in 2017, Geneviève Paquette is entering her 28th year with the Club de hockey Canadien. After completing a degree in Translation at Université de Montréal, she began working at the Molson Centre (now Bell Centre) as a member of the sales and operations department. Her knowledge of the company and her experience in event organization and customer service, particularly with schools and community organizations, earned her a promotion within the communications and community relations in 1999. In her new position she actively participated in the creation of the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation to provide assistance and support to children in need throughout Quebec.

In 2006, she was promoted to director of community relations. As such, Geneviève is responsible for a broad spectrum of club initiatives in the community, ranging from traditional activities to the implementation of new programs. In July 2008, she was appointed executive director of the Montreal Canadiens Children's Foundation and played a key role in broadening of its mission to put emphasis on a healthy lifestyle and the implementation of the flagship project of the Foundation - the BLEU BLANC BOUGE program - consisting of the construction of refrigerated community outdoor and multi-sport rinks, to serve as gathering areas for youth to enjoy and practice several types of sports.

In order to promote a better synergy for all community actions supported by the Montreal Canadiens, and in July 2016 she added the management of the minor hockey development programs to her duties as well as the team ambassadors and Alumni activities in the community and the guided tours of the Bell Centre.

Geneviève is part of the Advisory Committee on community relations of the National Hockey League since 2009.
