Red Wings for Reading

The Detroit Red Wings are committed to improving literacy in the state of Michigan by offering an incentive-based reading program to local teachers at no cost. The Red Wings for Reading Program supports existing reading curriculum in grades K-5 by encouraging students to increase the minutes they spend reading both in school and at home while receiving Red Wings for Reading prizes for their accomplishments and the chance to attend a Detroit Red Wings game.

Future Goals - Hockey Scholar

The Future Goals - Hockey Scholar program is designed to leverage STEM in hockey to create a fun and memorable learning experience. As an enhancement to the online curriculum, the Red Wings and Chevrolet offer STEM Day: At School which provides educators with hands-on activity kits and resources for their classroom.

Teacher of the Month

The Detroit Red Wings Teacher of the Month program, presented by Burns and Wilcox, was created to show thanks and gratitude to Michigan teachers and educators who change the lives of millions of children every day, inside and outside the classroom.
