"It was a fun game," Jost told TSN following the victory. "It's great to play with all of these awesome players. It's an unbelievable experience."
Jost gave Canada a 2-0 advantage on the scoreboard with his first marker with 2:44 remaining in the first period and then stretched the lead to seven with his second tally at 16:24 of the middle frame. He assisted on Jordan Eberle's (New York Islanders) goal midway through the third period that made it a 10-0 game.

"I think our coaching staff and the leadership core did a great job of stressing before the game that we can't stray away from our systems and all of that stuff," Jost said. "We learned a lot from a team standpoint in that U.S. game and what we have to work on, and I think we just wanted to implement those things in today's game. That's our goal, just get better and better each game and progress forward as the tournament goes on."
Canada returns to action on Monday when it completes its back-to-back set against host Denmark.

Finland (8) vs. Latvia (1)

Team Finland continued its dominant play at the World Championship on Sunday as it defeated Latvia 8-1 at Jyske Bank Boxen in Herning.
The Finns opened the contest with three tallies in the opening period and never looked back, adding two more in the second and three in the third.
Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen had a goal and an assist for Finland. He scored at 7:28 of the third stanza to extend the lead to 7-0.
Rihards Bukarts ended Finland's shutout bid with Latvia's only tally with 8:22 left in regulation.
Teuvo Teravainen (Carolina Hurricanes) led the Finns in scoring with two goals and two assists in the contest.
Finland, which next plays Norway on Tuesday, leads Group B with a 2-0-0-0 record (six points) and has outscored its opponents 16-2 after the first two games of the tournament.

Sweden (3) vs. Czech Republic (2)

Sweden held off a late rally by the Czech Republic and won 3-2 on Sunday at Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark.
The Swedes had a 2-0 lead after the first period and were up 3-1 following Mika Zibanejad's (New York Rangers) marker 3:11 into the final period. Tomas Hyka scored with 4:14 left in regulation to get the Czechs to within one tally, but they couldn't close the gap any more.
Sweden finished with a slight 27-25 edge in shots on goal.
Pavel Francouz, the newly-signed goaltender of the Avalanche, did not play in the game for the Czech Republic after stopping 15 of 17 shots in the team's overtime win on Saturday in the opener against rival Slovakia.
The Czech Republic has Monday off before playing Switzerland on Tuesday.

Switzerland (2) vs. Slovakia (0)

The Swiss picked up their second victory of the World Championship on Sunday by defeating Slovakia 2-0 at Royal Arena in Copenhagen.
Mirco Muller (New Jersey Devils) and Tristan Scherwey each had a goal and an assist for Switzerland, while former Avalanche goaltender Reto Berra stopped 24 shots in the shutout.
Colorado forward Sven Andrighetto did not play in the contest for Switzerland. He was suspended for the game after receiving a match penalty for kneeing in Saturday's win against Austria.
