Altitude Sports Radio to Replay Avs' 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs Games

Beginning on Tuesday, Altitude Sports Radio 92.5 will air uninterrupted replays of the Colorado Avalanche's 2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs run. There will not be any commercial or intermission breaks during each of the broadcasts.

The Avs met the Calgary Flames in Round 1 won the series in five games, advancing to the second round of the postseason for the first time since 2008. During the matchup, Cale Makar scored his first NHL goal on his first shot in the opening period of the Avalanche's Game 3 victory. He became the first defenseman in NHL history to score his first career goal while making his NHL debut in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
Colorado took on the San Jose Sharks in Round 2, the fifth time the teams met in the postseason. The only other opponent that has faced the Avalanche more often in the playoffs is the Detroit Red Wings, who have battled the Avs six times. Colorado forced the series to seven games with a 4-3 overtime victory in Game 6 when Gabriel Landeskog tallied his first career overtime winner in the postseason and J.T. Compher had two goals and an assist. Compher became the 10th player in Avalanche/Quebec Nordiques franchise history to record three or more points in an elimination game and first since Alex Tanguay registered three in Game 7 of the 2001 Stanley Cup Final versus the New Jersey Devils.
