J.T. Compher faceoff Minnesota Wild 2021 April 5

The Colorado Avalanche will use the same lineup as it did in its last game tonight when it takes on the Minnesota Wild at Xcel Energy Center.
The Avs picked up a 5- 4 victory over the Wild on Monday after Nathan MacKinnon and Andre Burakovsky each had a goal and an assist and Devon Toews logged a career-high 29:48 of ice time, the most minutes by a Colorado skater in a non-overtime finish since Erik Johnson logged 30:25 on Nov. 15, 2014 at the New Jersey Devils.

Monday's win extended Colorado's point streak to 15 outings (13-0-2), the longest point streak in the NHL this season and the second longest in franchise history. The team can tie the franchise record of 16 straight games with at least a point, a mark set by the 2001 Stanley Cup championship squad from Dec. 27, 2000 - Jan. 30, 2001.
Philipp Grubauer will once again be in the crease this evening, making his 32nd start of the year. He leads the NHL in wins (24) and shutouts (five) and among netminders who have appeared in at least 10 games ranks first in goals-against average (1.83) and fourth in save percentage (.926).
Grubauer is 12-0-1 in his last 13 games, setting a franchise mark for consecutive games (13) with a point. It's the longest streak without a regulation loss by an Avalanche netminder since 2013-14 (Semyon Varlamov, 11-0-5).
Against the Wild so far this season, Grubauer has one shutout and a 5-1-0 record with a .919 save percentage and 2.01 goals-against average.
It is the eighth and final meeting between the clubs this regular season. The Avs are 5-1-1 against Minnesota this year, matching its most wins ever against the Wild (5-0-0 in 2000-01 and 5-3-0 in 2005-06).
