JULY 9, 2022 - NICOLAS AUBE-KUBEL - SOREL-TRACY, QUEBEC (CANADA)

The Avalanche Cup days kicked off in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec on July 9, with Nicolas Aube-Kubel. The former Avalanche forward - who signed with Toronoto this offseason as a free agent - took the Cup through a parade around his hometown and on a boat through the confluence of the Richelieu River and the St. Lawrence River, all while sharing it with family, close friends and the community.
As part of Quebec tradition, Aube-Kubel ate poutine out of Lord Stanley as well as Gibelotte, a traditional soup that originated in his hometown of Sorel-Tracy.


JULY 10, 2022 - SAMUEL GIRARD - ROBERVAL, QUEBEC (CANADA)

The Cup continued its tour in Quebec as it went four hours north to Roberval, the hometown of defenseman Samuel Girard. Girard spent the day hosting a parade through town and also shared the Cup with his family, close friends and the community.


JULY 15, 2022 - J.T. COMPHER - NORTHBROOK, ILLINOIS (USA)

On July 15, 2022, the Stanley Cup returned stateside to Northbrook, a suburb of Chicago and the hometown of Avalanche forward J.T. Compher. Compher spent the day first eating his mom's famous chocolate chip pancakes out of the Cup. Then, he took the Cup around his hometown and to a local firestation all while sharing it with family, friends and the community.


JULY 16, 2022 - JACK JOHNSON - COLUMBUS, OHIO

The Cup continued a stint in the U.S. as it made its way over to Columbus, Ohio to visit Jack Johnson. The veteran defenseman spent the day sharing taking it around town and even to a local ice cream shop where his children ate a hot fudge ice cream sundae from the silver trophy. He also shared his impressive hardware, including a silver Olympic medal that he won with Team USA in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, with his brother-in-laws A.J. Hawk, who won a Super Bowl and Brady Quinn, who won multiple awards as a quaterback for Notre Dame, as well as with his sister-in-law Alicia Quinn, who won a silver medal at the 2008 Summer Olympics as a gymnast.


JULY 19, 2022 - JARED BEDNAR - CHARLESTON, SOUTH CAROLINA

To conclude the first leg of U.S. cities, the Stanley Cup went down south to Charleston, South Carolina to spend the day with Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar.
Bednar first took the Cup back to his coaching roots with the Charleston Stingrays of the ECHL, as he is the only coach ever to have won at the ECHL (Kelly Cup), AHL (Calder Cup) and NHL (Stanley Cup) levels. He then took the Cup off the coast of Charleston on his boat.


JULY 22, 2022 - PAVEL FRANCOUZ - PILSEN, CZECH REPUBLIC

After the stateside stint, the Stanley Cup ventured over for its European tour beginning on July 22, in Pilsen, Czechia.
The Avalanche goaltender took the Cup through town on an old USA military vehicle. He then went on stage in front of his hometown, made a speech, took photos with fans and drank local Pilsner beer out of the Cup.


JULY 23, 2022 - NICO STURM - AUGSBURG, GERMANY

The Stanley Cup continued its European tour as it visited Augsburg, Germany, the hometown of former Avalanche forward Nico Sturm.
Sturm brought the Cup to Augsburg Town Hall and shared it with the local mayor. He then took the Cup to a celebration at Curt Frenzel Stadium, the rink of Augsburger of the Deutsche Eishockey LIga, Germany's top-tier professional league, where the stands were filled with hundreds of fans.


JULY 25, 2022 - GABRIEL LANDESKOG - STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Colorado's captain Gabriel Landeskog got to take the Cup around his hometown of Stockholm, and the capital of his native country Sweden.
Landeskog first took the coveted trophy to his elementary school and then over to a local arena where he played when he was 15 and 16 years old. There, he hosted a meet-and-greet with fans. Afterwards, he hosted a gathering for family and close friends to enjoy his achievement and the Cup.


JULY 27, 2022 - ANDRE BURAKOVSKY - MALMO, SWEDEN

The Cup stayed in Sweden as it returned to the hometown of former Avalanche winger Andre Burakovksy, who had previously won the Stanley Cup in 2018 with the Washington Capitals.


JULY 29, 2022 - ARTTURI LEHKONEN - PIIKKIO, FINLAND

On July 29, 2022, the Cup traveled to Finland to Piikkio, the hometown of Avalanche forward Artturi Lehkonen, who scored both the Western Conference Final and Stanley Cup Final clinching goals.
Lehkonen took the Cup to his childhood home, shared it with family and his four siblings. He also took the Cup to a sauna with some friends and to rink he played in during his early teen years and the Sports Science Lab, where he currently works out in the summers.


JULY 30, 2022 - MIKKO RANTANEN - NOUSIAINEN, FINLAND

Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen joined in on the evening festitives with Lehkonen before hosting his own day with the Cup on July 30 in his hometown of Nousiainen.
Rantanen got his day started off with a hearty breakfast of porridge from the Stanley Cup. He the took the Cup around his hometown to visit the community, friends and family.


AUGUST 3, 2022 - JOSH MANSON - PRINCE ALBERT, SASKATCHEWAN

The Stanley Cup returned to North America for the next leg of its Avalanche tour beginning in Josh Manson's hometown of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan.
The Avalanche defenseman took the Cup to his minor hockey club, out on the water and around the campfire with family and friends.


AUGUST 4, 2022 - RYAN MURRAY - REGINA BEACH, SASKATCHEWAN

The Stanley Cup continued its tour of Saskatchewan as it went to Regina Beach on August 4 to visit Ryan Murray's hometown. The Avalanche defenseman took the Cup to a local children's hospital and spent the day with friends and family.


AUGUST 6, 2022 - JARED BEDNAR - HUMBOLDT SASKATCHEWAN

Avalanche Head Coach Jared Bednar was permitted to have the Stanley Cup for a second day as he took it to the Fifth Annual Conexus Credit Union Humboldt Broncos Memorial Golf Tournament, which honors the families of the 2018 Humboldt Broncos junior hockey team. Back on April 6, 2018, 16 people were killed and 13 people were injured in from the Humboldt Broncos bus as it crashed with a semi-trailer truck.


AUGUST 10, 2022 - LOGAN O'CONNOR - CALGARY, ALBERTA

The Stanley Cup made the trip to Alberta with its first stop at the hometown of Logan O'Connor in Calgary. The Avalanche forward spent the morning with the Stanley Cup, and spent the day with close friends and family. He also took it to his father's suite shop.


AUGUST 11, 2022 - CALE MAKAR - CALGARY, ALBERTA

Cale Makar, who won the Conn Smythe (MVP of the Stanley Cup Playoffs) and James Norris Memorial Trophies (Awarded annually to the best defenseman) spent his day with the Stanley Cup on Aug. 11 in Calgary.
Makar began his day eating pancakes with the Cup, sharing it with his close family and his youth hockey team. He and his younger brother, Taylor (who was drafted in the seventh round of the 2021 NHL Draft by the Avalanche), also filled the Cup up with a slushie.


AUGUST 16, 2022 - BOWEN BYRAM - CRANBROOK, BRITISH COLUMBIA

Bowen Byram received his turn with the Stanley Cup on Aug. 16 and took it to his hometown of Cranbrook, British Columbia.

AUGUST 18, 2022 - DARREN HELM - DETROIT, MICHIGAN

Darren Helm spent his day with the Stanley Cup in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. The veteran forward won the Stanley Cup for the second time in his career (2009 with the Detroit Red Wings.
He spent the day sharing the Cup with his three daughters - who ate Lucky Charm's and ice cream sundaes from the Cup -, family, close friends and former teammates.


AUGUST 20, 2022 - NATHAN MACKINNON - HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA

The Stanley Cup returned to Canada on August 20 where it visited alternate captain Nathan MacKinnon in Halifax, Nova Scotia. MacKinnon took the Cup to his youth hockey rink in Cole Harbour, his childhood home, through town in front of a parade, to Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building and to a game of the local soccer team, the Halifax Wanderers, all while sharing it with family, friends and the community.


AUGUST 22, 2022 - ALEX NEWHOOK - ST. JOHN'S, NEWFOUNDLAND

As just the third-ever player in the history of the NHL to come from the province of Newfoundland, Alex Newhook shared his proud achievement with his roots as he brought the Stanley Cup back to Newfoundland.
Newhook spent his day taking the Stanley Cup around town and sharing it with everyone. He brought the Cup up to the iconic Signal Hill, to the Confederation Building, on a parade through town, with his local hockey teams all while enjoying the day with friends and family.


AUGUST 26, 2022 - ANDREW COGLIANO - VAUGHN, ONTARIO

Andrew Cogliano spent his day with the Stanley Cup in the suburbs of Toronto. The veteran took the Cup around - via a firetruck - to his local hockey rink, his church, a disability center and then back home where he enjoyed it with family and friends.
