Avalanche Sends Nine Qualifying Offers

The Colorado Avalanche has sent qualifying offers to nine restricted free agents to retain their negotiating rights.
Below is a list of Colorado's restricted free agents that have received qualifying offers.

A.J. Greer (LW)
Tyson Jost (C)
Vladislav Kamenev (C)
Hunter Miska (G)
Valeri Nichushkin (RW)
Nikita Zadorov (D)
By issuing the offers, NHL clubs are given the first right of refusal or draft choice compensation should the player sign an offer sheet with another team.
RFAs who do not get a qualifying offer from their respective teams become unrestricted free agents. This year's free agency period begins on Friday, Oct. 9 at 10 a.m. MT.
