The Avalanche returns from the All-Star Break and bye week to host the Vancouver Canucks at Pepsi Center. It's the second of three matchups between the clubs this season and the first of two that will be played in the Mile High City, as the Canucks return on Feb. 27 to wrap up the season series. Vancouver won the first contest 7-6 in overtime on Nov. 2 at Rogers Arena.

On Tuesday, Jan. 22, Avalanche forwards Matt Nieto and Mikko Rantanen participated in a floor hockey clinic with 100 intellectually diabled athletes from Special Olympics Colorado as part of the Avalanche Street/Floor Hockey program and NHL's Hockey Is For Everyone initiative.

The Avs Better Halves' annual Charity Brunch will take place on Feb. 17 at the Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center. The event includes brunch served by the players and coaches and a fashion show featuring Avalanche players escorting children who have overcome medical challenges.
