Wednesday, Oct. 16 at Pittsburgh Penguins

PPG Paints Arena, 5 p.m. MT, TV: NBCSN, Radio: 92.5 FM
Colorado and Pittsburgh square off for the first of two contests during the 2019-20 campaign. The clubs split last season's two-game series with each team winning at home.

Friday, Oct. 18 at Florida Panthers

BB&T Center, 5 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 92.5 FM
The Avalanche plays the first half of its first back-to-back set of the season against the Florida Panthers on Friday night. Florida will make its lone trip to Denver to complete the season series on Oct. 30.

Saturday, Oct. 19 at Tampa Bay Lightning

Amalie Arena, 5 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 92.5 FM
The Avs face Tampa Bay Saturday to close out the Eastern Conferece portion of their season-long, six-game road trip. Colorado lost both contests against the Lightning last season.

Monday, Oct. 21 at St. Louis Blues

Enterprise Center, 6 p.m. MT, TV: Altitude, Radio: 92.5 FM
Colorado travels to St. Louis for their second Central Division matcup of the season and first of five meetings against the defending Stanley Cup Champions. The Avs will return to Denver before copleting their six-game road trip at Vegas.

Player Spotlight: Andre Burakovsky

Burakovsky has tallied five points (2g, 3a) through five games this season, ranked fifth on the team in scoring. He notched the game-winning goal last Thursday against the Boston Bruins and scored in overtime on Saturday versus the Arizona Coyotes to lift the Avalanche to victory. Burakovsky's overtime winner was the second such goal of his career, and the winger is the first Avalanche player to register the game-winning goal in back-to-back outings since Gabriel Landeskog did it early last season (Oct. 18-20, 2018 at New Jersey and Carolina).
