BUFFALO, N.Y.--Andre Burakovsky recorded a career-high four points while registering his fourth straight multi-point game to help the Colorado Avalanche earn a 6-1 win against the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center on Tuesday.
Valeri Nichsuhkin (one goal, two assists), Nikita Zadorov (one goal, one assist) and Nazem Kadri (one goal, one assist) had multi-point performances as well in Colorado's win. Samuel Girard and Mikko Rantanen also scored for the Avs, while Ryan Graves, Joonas Donskoi, Cale Makar, Nathan MacKinnon and Gabriel Landeskog collected assists.
Makar's helper was his 38th point of the season, setting a new scoring record for a rookie defenseman in Avalanche/Quebec Nordiques history.
