Avalanche To Participate In Sharks' 2017 Prospect Showcase

The Colorado Avalanche will take part in the San Jose Sharks' 2017 Prospect Showcase from Sept. 9-12 in San Jose, California.
Colorado will join the Anaheim Ducks, Arizona Coyotes and the Sharks in showcasing their prospects and young players in exhibition games. The teams will play each opponent once in a round-robin format, with the contests mirroring those that are played in the NHL.

All of the Avs' games will be held at Solar4America Ice, located at 1500 S. 10th Street, San Jose, CA 95112. A full schedule is below.
Colorado will also hold practices with its prospects during the squad's four days in San Jose. Rosters will be announced closer to the event.
Last season, the Avalanche hosted the Ducks and Sharks in its inaugural Rookie Showcase at the Ice Centre at the Promenade in Westminster and went on to be crowned tournament champions after winning both outings against the Pacific Division clubs.
