What a season.
Just like that 82 games later, the Colorado Avalanche have completed another - this time record-shattering - regular season. It was quite the exhilarating ride as the Avalanche fiercely contended and established themselves as one of the top teams in the NHL for the majority of their historic campaign. Perhaps more impressively, the team did so in the face of adversity like ailments that prevented the team from ever dressing a fully healthy lineup.
All that considered, the Avalanche still found a way to dominate with their 119-point season that featured new franchise records and an execution that clinched the top seed in the Western Conference.
Now as they prepare to undergo the ultimate test of the Stanley Cup Playoffs as they look to #FindAWay and take on the Nashville Predators in the First Round beginning on May 3 at 7:30 p.m. MT, take a look back at some of the most notable numbers from Colorado's impressive season:

56 WINS, 119 POINTS

With 56 wins and 119 points, the Avalanche have established a new franchise record. Colorado was the first team in the league to eclipse 70, 80, 90 and 100-point marks this season and the first team to reach 30, 40 and 50 wins.
The Avalanche completed their 2021-22 season with the second-best record in the NHL of 56-19-7, an impressive feat for a group that persevered all season long and held themselves accountable to a winning expectation.
