Rapid Recap: Coyotes 0, Avalanche 4

The Colorado Avalanche defeated the Arizona Coyotes 4-0 on Sept. 19th at the 2022 Rookie Camp hosted by San Jose.

Alex Beaucage, Brady Stonehouse and Oskar Olausson notched goals for Colorado with assists from Danila Zhuravlyov, Tarun Fizer, Rylan Roersma and Cameron Wright.

THE GOALS:

1st Period:

2nd Period:
3:20 COL 1, ARI 0 (PP) - Fizer won the offensive zone face off back to Zhuravlyov who passed d to d to Beaucage for a quick shot glove high on the Arizona goaltender.
9:49 COL 2, ARI 0 -After intercepting an Arizona pass, 57 banked the puck up the boards to Stonehouse entering the zone who rifled the puck glove high on the AZ goalie.
3rd Period:
7:25 COL 3, ARI 0- Jean-Luc Foudy scored Colorado's only goal with assists from Cameron Wright and Ben Meyers.
17:27 COL 4, ARI 0- Brady Stonehouse scored an empty net goal.

The Avalanche were 1-for-5 on the power play.
The Coyotes were 0-for-2 on the power play.

GOALTENDING BATTLE:

Ivan Zhigalov made 15 saves on 15 shots for the Avalanche.
