The Chicago Blackhawks today acquired forward Anthony Duclair and defenseman Adam Clendening from the Arizona Coyotes in exchange for forwards Richard Panik and Laurent Dauphin. Clendening will report to the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.
Duclair, 22, has 15 points (9G, 6A) in 33 games with Arizona this season. He has also scored a goal in two straight games. During the 2015-16 season with the Coyotes, the Pointe-Claire, Quebec, native recorded career highs in goals (20), assists (24), points (44) and games played (81). Originally drafted in the third round (80th overall) of the 2013 National Hockey League Draft by the New York Rangers, Duclair was acquired by Arizona on March 1, 2015. In 190 career NHL games, spanning four seasons (2014-18), he has 35 goals and 46 assists.
