Kampf-Perlini

As the Blackhawks continue to build the 2019-20 roster, Senior Vice President/General Manager Stan Bowman is confident that David Kampf and Brendan Perlini will be part of the group heading into Jeremy Colliton's first full season in charge.
While discussing the acquisition of Andrew Shaw and the pending free agency window Sunday evening, Bowman addressed the status of the duo's contracts.

"We've had some really good conversations with David, I'm confident we'll be able to get something done there," Bowman said of the 24-year-old Kampf, who scored 19 points (4G, 15A) in 63 games in 2018-19.
The same progress has not yet been made with Brendan Perlini, but Bowman again feels confident that after the free agency buzz dies down, the two sides will be able to reach an agreement.
"Brendan and I've had very introductory-type talks, but we haven't really gone past that," he said of the winger who scored 21 points (14G, 7A) in 68 games last season. "There's a lot going on right now and he's a restricted free agent without arbitration, so it's not as urgent to get that done by July 1.
"I don't anticipate there being issues on those two guys contract-wise."
