The Blackhawks took a 2-1 overtime win over the Nashville Predators on Sunday night in the first game under interim head coach Derek King.
The game's lone regulation goals came 1:50 apart in the second period, with Brandon Hagel finding twine for the third time on the week. Alex DeBrincat found the winner in overtime to take the full two points for the team's second victory of the year.
Kevin Lankinen made 20 saves on the night with some particularly big ones in the third period to keep the game deadlocked for extra time. The netminder even notched an assist on the game-winner.
