Chicago erased a two-goal deficit in the second period and tried to erase a three-goal hole in the third period, but came up one tally short before an Arizona empty-netter sealed the deal, falling to the Coyotes 6-4 in the desert.
Kirby Dach and MacKenzie Entwistle scored minutes apart in the middle frame before Jonathan Toews and Alex DeBrincat did so in the third in the comeback attempt. Marc-Andre Fleury made 19 saves on the night.
