from the Toronto Maple Leafs in exchange for the No. 38 overall pick, the Blackhawks' natural second-round selection.
Rinzel, a 6-foot-3, 181-pound native of Chanhassen, Minn., split his 2021-22 season between Chaska High School in Minnesota and the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL, totalling 48 points (11G, 27A) in 48 games. The blueliner is committed to the University of Minnesota to play college hockey in the fall.
