Blackhawks rookie forward Connor Bedard buried his 12th goal of the season on Tuesday and is riding a 10-game road point streak (9G, 5A) ... With the goal, he became the 11th rookie in NHL history to record a road point streak of at least 10 games ... It was also the fifth time this season that Bedard has opened the scoring in a game, which ties him for first among all NHL skaters JJ Peterka and Sidney Crosby ... He continues to lead first years with 12 goals and 24 points in 28 games this season.
VLASIC ROCK
Defenseman Alex Vlasic chipped in an assist on Tuesday against Edmonton and now has points (1G, 2A) in three of his last five games ... He now has five assists on the year, which share third among all Blackhawks blueliners ... He recorded four blocked shots on Tuesday and now ranks third on the team with 50 blocked shots in 26 games this season ... Vlasic also led all game skaters with 24:58 of time on ice, the second most he’s played in a game this season.
LOUIS AND CLARK
Louis Crevier tallied an assist against the Oilers for his second career NHL point ... His two NHL points share sixth among all skaters selected in the third round or later of the 2020 NHL Draft ... He also posted a career-high two blocked shots on Tuesday evening.
