BLACK HISTORY MONTH SPOTLIGHT

The Blackhawks will culminate a monthlong celebration of Black History Month on Friday night at the United Center. In addidion to featuring
stories
of Black individuals who are making their mark on the Blackhawks organization, the game of hockey and our local neighborhoods throughout the night, Jason Ross, Jr., who made history in on Jan. 8 as the team's first Black TV play-by-play announcer, will call the game on WGN radio and all five of the newest Black-owned 'Support West' small business grantees will be on hand in the United Center Atrium pregame, where fans can see art come to life in real-time as well as sample tacos, coffee and other bite-sized treats.

VS. NEW JERSEY

The Blackhawks and Devils meet for the second and final time this year tonight at the United Center. New Jersey defeated Chicago 4-3 in overtime on Oct. 15 at the Prudential Center with Dominik Kubalik, Alex DeBrincat and Kirby Dach registering markers for the Blackhawks that evening.
DeBrincat has a goal in two of his last three games against the Devils. Patrick Kane and Tyler Johnson paced the club with two points - each player finished with two helpers - that evening. Kane had a game-high seven shots on goal. Seth Jones also recorded an assist in a game-high 26:08 of total ice time.
This contest features the first (Jack Hughes) and third (Dach) overall picks from the 2019 National Hockey League Draft held in Vancouver.

PATRICK STAR

Patrick Kane recorded an assist on February 20 against the Panthers to pass Denis Savard for second on the Blackhawks all-time assists list. Stan Mikita is first on the list with 926 career helpers. Kane also added a goal against Florida for his 14th multi-point outing of the season. He tallied a four-game point streak (1G, 4A) from Feb. 9-17. Kane has points (4G, 9A) in eight of his last 10 skates.

FLOWER POWER

Marc-Andre Fleury posted his fourth shutout of the season on February 18 against the Stars. That total shares second in the NHL this season. With his 71st career shutout, he matched Lorne Chabot and Harry Lumley for 12th on the league's all-time list. Former Blackhawks Tony Esposito and Ed Belfour are next on the list with 76 career shutouts.

GOALAPALOOZA

Alex DeBrincat notched a marker in back-to-back games on Feb. 14 and 17. He has three goals and six points over his last six games. He shares fifth in the NHL with 29 markers and 11 power-play goals. He shares third in the NHL with 61 goals since the beginning of last season.

STROME ON THE DOT

Dylan Strome has 14 points (6G, 8A) over his last 17 game. In Sunday afternoon's contest against the Panthers, Strome won 67 percent (12 of 18) of his draws. The 12 faceoff victories were his second-highest single-game total of the year. He has won 56.3% or more of his faceoffs in 14 of his last 18 games and is winning a career-high 54.6% of his draws this year.
