TONIGHT'S MATCHUP

The Blackhawks come into Saturday’s contest having earned points in five of their last seven road games (1-2-4) road games against Los Angeles. Taylor Hall has nine points (4G, 5A) over his last eight games against Los Angeles. Tyler Bertuzzi has six points (3G, 3A) over his last six contests against the Kings. Petr Mrazek is 3-3-1 with a 1.92 goals-against average, a .936 save percentage and one shutout in eight career games against the Kings.

The Blackhawks dropped a 3-2 decision to the San Jose Sharks on Thursday evening at SAP Center. Connor Murphy recorded two assists. Ryan Donato found the back of the net for his team-leading sixth goal of the season. Tyler Bertuzzi also scored. Ilya Mikheyev notched an assist and has points (1G, 1A) in back-to-back games. Taylor Hall also chipped in an assist. Nick Foligno led all game skaters with five hits. Petr Mrazek made 26 saves on 29 shots.

MURPHS UP

Defenseman Connor Murphy notched two assists on Thursday and now has assists (3A) in back-to-back games and helpers (6A) in five of his last six games. His six assists now share first among all team skaters, while his six points rank fifth on the club. He also recorded one blocked shot against San Jose and now ranks third on the team with 21 blocked shots in 11 games this season.

RYANAIR

A former Shark, forward Ryan Donato scored on Thursday and now has goals (4G) in three-straight games and goals (5G) in four of his last five games. He is one game short of tying his career-long goal streak set during the 2022-23 campaign with
Seattle (4G). Donato currently shares 12th among all NHL skaters with six goals in nine games this season.

FLIGGY AZALEA

Blackhawks captain Nick Foligno posted five hits on Thursday against San Jose to lead all game skaters. He now shares eighth among all NHL skaters and leads the Blackhawks with 38 hits in 11 games in the 2024-25 season. He also registered a blocked shots against the Sharks and shares second among all club forwards with eight blocked shots this season.
