PROSPECTS: Get to know Chicago's Traverse City roster

The Blackhawks have announced their 24-player roster for the 2019 Traverse City Prospect Tournament, including the team's three first-round picks from the last two drafts - Kirby Dach, Adam Boqvist and Nicolas Beaudin.
You might not need a refresher on them, be here's a quick look at every player invited to the tournament for Chicago.

Sept. 3 Update: Sean Joslin, Nick Kossoff and Cole Purboo have been added to the Traverse City roster, while Luke Bignell, Nico Daws and Sean Element will no longer be attending.

FORWARDS

• Kirby Dach - The No. 3 overall pick in June's draft will get a jump start on training camp as a headliner on the Traverse City roster. Coming off a dazzling Development Camp in July, another strong showing could be the 18-year-old's next step in his push to make the opening night roster.
• Mackenzie Entwistle - A point-per-game forward across two teams in the OHL last season and a back-to-back league champion, Entwistle is making the professional jump this season. The 20-year-old piqued interest at his second Development Camp last month and looks to do the same in his second trip to Traverse City as a possible top-line weapon alongside his friend Kirby Dach.
• Brandon Hagel - One of two Red Deer (WHL) forwards signed as free agents by Chicago in the last year, Hagel will get his first game action as a Blackhawk in Traverse City. Tied for fourth in Western League scoring last season with 102 points (41G, 61A) in 66 games, the 6-foot-1 winger could be one to keep an eye on in his first season as a pro.
• Mikael Hakkarainen - The fifth-round pick from 2018 makes his first prospect tournament appearance after a 47-point campaign (19G, 28A) in 42 games with Muskegon in the USHL, sharing a team-high nine points (4G, 5A) in eight playoff contests. Hakkarainen signed a three-year entry level contract in May.
• Reese Johnson - Joining his Red Deer teammate Brandon Hagel as a Blackhawks free agent signing this past season, Johnson will get his first taste of pro action in Traverse City. The Rebels captain scored 53 points (26G, 27A) in 67 games during the 2018-19 season.
• Philipp Kurashev - A fourth-rounder from 2018, Kurashev continues to impress. He was the leading scorer for the Quebec Remparts as they made runs to the QMJHL and Memorial Cup finals. The forward signed an entry-level deal in March and finished the season playing three games for the Rockford IceHogs on an amateur tryout.
• Tim Soderlund - Signed to an entry level contract in May, Soderlund split the 2018-19 season between Frölunda HC and Skellefteå AIK in the Swedish Hockey League. The forward scored the lone goal in the final game as Sweden captured a silver medal at U20 World Junior Championship.
• Michal Teply - Taken in the fourth round of this year's draft, Teply will get his feet wet in the North American game in Traverse City before heading to play for the WHL's Winnipeg Ice this season. A regular with Czech Republic's U18s, the forward scored 29 points (9G, 20A) in 25 games over the last year, including three assists in five games at World Juniors.
• Liam Coughlin\ - The 24-year-old just finished his senior season at Vermont with six goals and 11 assists in 29 gamess. A fifth-round pick of the Edmonton Oilers in 2014, Coughlin's rights were acquired in exchange for Andrers Nilsson on July 6, 2015. He was signed to a one-year AHL deal with Rockford in May.
• Dylan McLaughlin\* - The Hobey Baker Top 10 finalist is signed to a two-year AHL contract with Rockford as a free agent in March, but will look to impress ahead of his first year as a pro. Chicago feels lucky to have the four-year standout from Canisius College in their system.
• Sean Josling\\\*- The 20-year-old forward just finished his third season with the Sarnia Sting (OHL), scoring 52 points (22G, 30A) in 62 games.
• Riley McKay\\\* - A teammate of Kirby Dach in Saskatoon last season, McKay had 27 points (12G, 15A) in 68 games and is the two-time reigning most penalized player in the WHL.
• Isaac Nurse\\\* - The forward put up 28 points (16G, 12A) in 68 games last year in his third season with the OHL's Hamilton Bulldogs, where he was teammates with Mackenzie Entwistle and Dylan Strome's brother, Matthew. Isaac's sister, Sarah, played four seasons at the University of Wisconsin and his cousin, Darnell, plays for the Edmonton Oilers.
• Cole Purboo\\** - An assistant captain with the Windsor Spitfires (OHL), Purboo led the team with 55 points (29G, 26A) in 68 games. The forward captured a Memorial Cup title in 2016-17 during his first season in Windsor and is expected to return for a fourth season this fall.

DEFENSEMEN

• Nicholas Beaudin - The late first-rounder in 2018 is expected to play a big role in Rockford's blueline this season in his first year as a pro. Beaudin has scored more than a point per game in each of his last two seasons in Drummondville (QMJHL) with 125 points (19G, 106A) in 121 regular season games.
• Adam Boqvist - A top pick a year ago, Boqvist is another promising young defenseman who could fight his way onto an NHL roster sooner rather than later. Coming off a dominant Development Camp in July, Boqvist is expected to take another step as a key member of the Traverse City squad.
• Dennis Gilbert - A veteran on the roster, Gilbert played in 63 games for the IceHogs last season and made his NHL debut on April 3 against St. Louis. The defenseman was a third-round pick in 2015 and spent three seasons at Notre Dame before turning pro last summer.
• Chad Krys - The second-round selection in 2016 played nine games for Rockford at the end of last year after his third season at Boston University, where 2019 second-round pick Alex Vlasic will play in the fall. Krys was a member of the 2015 U.S. team that took home the gold medal at World Juniors.
• Cole Moberg - Moberg is the youngest defenseman on the roster as Chicago's seventh-round pick in June. He was the third leading scorer for Prince George (WHL) with 40 points (13G, 27A) in 61 games last season and is set to return for his third full season in the fall.
• Jack Ramsey\* - After being drafted in 2014 as a winger and playing his whole college career there, Ramsey is making the transition to defenseman in Traverse City. He played in 38 games for the University of Minnesota in 2018-19, scoring three goals and an assist.
• Jake Ryczek - A seventh-round pick in 2016, Ryczyk finished his first full season with the Halifax Mooseheads (QMJHL), scoring 33 points in 51 regular season games and 13 points in 23 playoff games.
