As the Blackhawks' junior prospects continue to lead the way for their teams in the second round of the playoffs, the Rockford IceHogs earned a playoff spot in their last game of the regular season.

ICEHOGS ADVANCE TO PLAYOFFS

Lukas Reichel returned last week following his month-long stint with the Blackhawks. In his first four games back, the forward produced a four-game point streak with three goals and two assists. He finished the regular season just six points shy of typing his career-high of 57 points.
Luke Philp heled the team in their fight for a playoff spot by putting them up 2-0 in Rockford's win over Milwaukee on Sunday night. The forward tallied his 11th power play goal of the season.

Brett Seney scored three points in his last four games with two goals and one assist.
Arvid Soderblom earned seven straight starts in the team's final matchups of the regular season. In those games, the netminder secured five wins and held his opponents to two goals or less in four of those contests.

The IceHogs will start the first round of playoffs on Wednesday with a 7 p.m. puck drop against the Iowa Wild.

JUNIOR PROSPECTS LEAD THE WAY

With three Blackhawks prospects on their roster, the Seattle Thunderbirds lead their series 2-0 against the Prince George Cougars.
Kevin Korchinski and Colton Dach both recorded two assists each in the team's 5-1 win on Saturday night.
Over with the Olympiques de Gatineau, Samuel Savoie produced three points (1G, 2A) through the team's 2-0 lead against the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies. In seven playoff games, the forward scored a total of six points with two goals and four assists.

Ethan Del Mastro continues to rack up points throughout the playoffs with the Sarnia Sting. He tallied seven assists in eight matchups between two rounds. The Sting currently lead 2-0 against the Saginaw Spirit.
All three teams will play their third game of their series on Tuesday, April 18.
