PROSPECTS: World Juniors Update - Dec. 29

SUI 4, DEN 0:
Blackhawks prospect Philipp Kurashev was the talk of the tournament on Saturday with a hat trick in Switzerland's 4-0 win over Denmark. A fourth-round pick by Chicago in the 2018 NHL Draft, Kurashev is tied with Canada's Maxime Comtois for the tournament's lead in goals after his demolition of the Danes.
Kurashev has scored five goals in Switzerland's first three games of the tournament. The 19-year old plays for the Québec Remparts of the QMJHL. Switzerland will next face Russia on Sunday.

FIN 5, SVK 1: Henri Jokiharju scored his first goal of the tournament as Finland eased past Slovakia 5-1 on Saturday. The Blackhawks defenseman anchored a productive defensive pairing with Ville Heinola, with both Finns notching a point in the win. Finland will play the U.S. on Monday.
CAN 5, CZE 1:Blackhawks prospect MacKenzie Entwistle continues to be productive for the Canadians. He scored his third goal of the tournament in a 5-1 rout of the Czechs.

Entwistle had the one score and was +2 with one shot on goal in 10:35 of ice time. Ian Mitchell played 13:45 on the back end and was +1.
Jakub Galvas finished the game with two shots on goal in a team-high 21:08 of ice time for the Czech squad.
Canada next plays Russia, while the Czech Republic plays Denmark on Monday.
SWE vs USA:Adam Boqvist scored the game-winner in OT as Sweden topped the USA 5-4 on Saturday night.
The Blackhawks top pick in the 2018 NHL Draft, Boqvist helped Sweden avoid disaster after Blackhawks prospect Evan Barratt and the Americans rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the third period. Barratt did not record a point in the loss.
The game turned after a natural hat trick from the USA's Ryan Poehling brought the Americans level in the final minutes, before Boqvist capitalized on an odd-man rush to slot home his first goal of the tournament and win it for the Swedes in overtime.
The goal also means that the Blackhawks last two first-round picks scored on Saturday, after Henri Jokiharju's goal for Finland ealier in the evening.
