Just like that, the Blackhawks have turned their longes losing skid of the season into a two-game winning streak. With a 3-0 win over the Florida Panthers on Thursday night, Chicago improved to 16-13-5 on the season and 9-5-2 on home ice.
Patrick Kane and Pius Suter scored the game's deciding goals just 2:29 apart in the second period and Brandon Hagel added an empty-netter with 1:24 to play to seal the win. Kevin Lankinen made 41 stops in the win, his second-highest save total on the year en route to his second shutout.
