2nd - 1:05 - Patrick Kane (Carl Soderberg, Brandon Hagel) -- PPG

The Blackhawks opened the middle frame on the man advantage and took full advantage off a moment of chaos in front. A shot from Adam Boqvist and a rebound attempt in tight from Brandon Hagel were both stopped by Sergei Bobrovsky. As a mass of humanity converged on the net, Carl Soderberg was sent flying over Bobrobsky in the crease, but managed to deflect the loose puck out to Patrick Kane at the dot, where the winger buried a chance over the pile of bodies for a 1-0 advantage.
