RECAP: Blackhawks Victorious Against Panthers, 3-2

The Blackhawks got back into the win volumn with a 3-2 victory over the Panthers on Tuesday night to snap a four-game losing streak that included two games against Florida last week.
Dominik Kubalik, Pius Suter and Carl Soderberg all scored in the win and Kevin Lankinen made 33 stops in his 11th 'W' of the year.

STAT OF THE NIGHT: With his first-period goal, Kubalik tied a career-best six-game point streak (2G, 4A). He now has 12 points (6G, 6A) over his last 14 games.

1st - 6:24 - Dominik Kubalik (Brandon Hagel, Connor Murphy)

The Blackhawks got on the board first as Brandon Hagel set Dominik Kubalik up perfectly off a rush. The rookie winger found the sophomore winger crashing the slot off a 2-on-1 with a perfect saucer pass over the stick of the diving Panthers defenseman and Kubalik buried a quick shot five-hole for the 1-0 lead.

1st - 18:30 - Pius Suter (Nikita Zadorov, Patrick Kane)

Chicago doubled the lead before the opening intermission as Pius Suter scored his ninth of the season. The rookie drove the net as Nikita Zadorov put a wrister on goal from the blue line and tipped the puck down through the five-hole of Chris Driedger for a 2-0 advantage.

2nd - 4:22 - Carl Soderberg (Patrick Kane, Alex DeBrincat) -- PPG

Carl Soderberg netted his sixth of the season and fourth on the power play early in the second, redirecting home a Patrick Kane feed at the top of the crease. Alex DeBrincat found Kane on the near-side dot with a cross-ice pass, and the winger quickly put a low puck towards the goal that Soderberg was able to redirect home at the back door for a 3-0 score.

2nd - 8:53 - Anton Stralman (Noel Acciari, Owen Tippett)

The Panthers got on the board shortly after a power play of their own a few minutes later. Anton Stralman took a cross-slot feed on the weak side from Noel Acciari and put a quick wrister past Kevin Lankinen to cut the Blackhawks lead to 3-1.

3rd - 15:22 - Alex Wennberg (Noel Acciari, Jonathan Huberdeau) -- PPG

With the goalie pulled on a late man advantage to create a 6-on-4 situation, the Panthers pulled within a goal as Alex Wennberg picked up a deflected puck at the side of the goal and tapped it past Kevin Lankinen to make it a 3-2 game.
