SAN JOSE, CA -Blackhawks forward Patrick Kane recorded two goals and one assist with five shots in the Central Division's 10-4 runaway victory over the Pacific squad in the opening game of the 2019 NHL All-Star 3-on-3 Tournament. Kane and the Central Division will face the winner of the Atlantic and Metropolitan matchup.
Mikko Rantanen opened the scoring for the Central Division at 1:03 of the first period, with the assist coming from Ryan O'Reilly.
Gabriel Landeskog buried a feed out in front by OReilly to make it 2-0 at 1:33.

Patrick Kane had a breakaway thwarted by Pacific goaltender John Gibson with just over six minutes remaining in the first 10-minute frame.
The Shark tank went into a frenzy when the hometown All-Star Erik Karlsson scored on a breakaway at 4:51, getting the Pacific Division on the board.
Kane set up Roman Josi for a tally off a rush to make it 3-1 for the Central Division at 5:08 of the first.

CEN@PAC: Kane beats Gibson with quick release

Kane then followed it up with a goal of his own, breaking in from the wing to beat Gibson at 5:31.
Mark Scheifele added to Central's lead with a goal at 6:39. The Central Division had five goals on their first six shots.
Rantanen beat Gibson again with a nice shot at 7:50, giving Central a commanding 6-1 lead.
Kane scored his second of the game, finishing off a 2-on-1 rush with Blake Wheeler at 8:11.

The Central Division took a 7-1 lead into the break.
The scoring continued for Central in the second period as Landeskog scored just 42 seconds in to make it an 8-1 lead.
O'Reilly kept the rout rolling along when he slid the puck into a wide-open net, vacated by Marc-Andre Fleury.
Landeskog beat Fleury for the hat trick at 4:36 of the second to put the Central team up 10-1.
Johnny Gaudreau stopped the bleeding for the Pacific squad, stickhandling through to the net and scoring at 4:47 of the final frame.
Karlsson continued the comeback bid, roofing a shot at 5:52 to make it a 10-3 game. His Sharks teammate Brent Burns made it 10-4 at 6:02.
Kane was denied on a breakaway with 2:41 remaining and then again on a second opportunity about 30 seconds after that.
In the end, the Pacific squad ran out of time and the Central's big lead held. The Pacific led in shots 27-18.
