The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has acquired forward Jason Dickinson and a second-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft from Vancouver in exchange for defenseman Riley Stillman.
Dickinson, 27, recorded 11 points (5G, 6A) in 62 regular-season games with Vancouver in 2021-22. The forward ranked second among Canucks forwards and sixth among all team skaters with 101 hits last season. He also tied for fifth among Vancouver forwards with 43 blocked shots.
He has recorded 74 points (30G, 44A) in 283 career regular-season NHL games over seven seasons with Dallas and Vancouver. Dickinson has also skated in 40 career postseason games, earning nine points (5G, 4A) and making one trip to the Stanley Cup Final in 2020 with Dallas.
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound native of Georgetown, Ont. was originally selected by Dallas in the first round (29th overall) of the 2013 NHL Draft.
