The Chicago Blackhawks today announced that the team has acquired a 2024 fifth round pick from the Nashville Predators in exchange for forward Anthony Beauvillier.
Beauvillier, 26, has split the 2023-24 season between the Vancouver Canucks and Chicago Blackhawks, appearing in 45 games and recording 14 points (4G, 10A). Beauvillier was acquired by the Blackhawks on Nov. 28, 2023 from Vancouver in exchange for a 2024 fifth round pick. With Chicago, Beauvillier tallied six points (2G, 4A) in 23 games.
With this acquired draft pick, the Blackhawks now have nine picks in the 2024 NHL Draft, including seven picks in the first three rounds.
