RELEASE: Hossa Retirement Ceremony to Start at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday

The Chicago Blackhawks will celebrate and honor Marian Hossa during a special jersey retirement ceremony on Sunday, November 20 against the Pittsburgh Penguins, presented by United Airlines. Ticketed fans are encouraged to arrive early as pregame celebrations will take place in the United Center Atrium with doors opening at 2:30 p.m. Fans should also be in their seats prior to game warmups, as the on-ice ceremony will take place in arena at 4:30 p.m. in advance of the 6 p.m. puck drop.

GATE GIVEAWAY

The first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive a miniature replica No. 81 banner. A limited quantity will be autographed by Hossa and given away at random across United Center entry gates.

ATRIUM ACTIVATIONS

A special pregame panel discussion with former teammates of Marian Hossa will take place in the Atrium at approximately 3:50 p.m. Additionally, an interactive display will take fans through Hossa's career from a young player in Slovakia to reaching the Hockey Hall of Fame.

ON-ICE CEREMONY

The Blackhawks will formally commemorate Hossa's career in the on-ice jersey retirement ceremony as the team send his No. 81 to the United Center rafters. Ticketed fans are encouraged to be in their seats before the ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m. and may revisit the Atrium's activities following its conclusion before the 6 p.m. puck drop. The ceremony will also air live on NBC Sports Chicago locally and on ESPN+ and the NHL Network outside of Chicago.

WARMUP JERSEY AUCTION

During warmups, players will wear honorary No. 81 Hossa jerseys, which will each be autographed and auctioned off online to benefit the Chicago Blackhawks Foundation. The auction will begin on Nov. 20 and run through Nov. 29. Fans should visit
